• Do I need coding experience?
  No coding experience is necessary! In fact, our best hacks have occasionally come from teams of non-CS people.
• What is a hackathon?
  A hackathon is a free, weekend-long tech event where students learn new skills, build interesting projects, and have fun! We will have free merch, free food, and industry professionals to connect with!
• Can I attend &hacks?
  Any current undergraduate, graduate, or high school students are invited to submit projects! Please note for highschoolers that we are unable to chaperone minors.
• Can I go solo?
  You can go solo or work in a team! Join our discord server to find a team: [DISCORD], or attend the team-building workshop at &hacks itself.
• What if I don't submit a project?
  That's OK! You can still finish it on your own time after &hacks concludes.
• When can I start my project?
  You can start your project when the schedule comes out! If you decide to continue a previous project, please make sure to be transparent about what you coded during &hacks and what portions were completed prior to the hackathon!
